Singapore Team
The HELO survey is being conducted at the National University of Singapore (NUS) under IRB #NUS-IRB-2023-672.
Rationale for Study Group
Singapore has one of the fastest-ageing populations globally. The HELO survey, administered door-to-door, includes adults aged 21 years old and above living in Singapore. By studying this population and assessing the general population’s knowledge, awareness, and motivations, researchers and policymakers can identify and refine strategies that promote healthy longevity.
About us
At the NUS Healthy Longevity Translational Research Programme, our mission is to add healthy years of life by delaying ageing, prolonging disease-free life and maintaining high functionality. We accomplish this through developing biomarkers to measure ageing, testing interventions to slow ageing, and creating implementation strategies to extend healthy life expectancy in Singapore.
